MANILA — Belle Mariano and Donny Pangilinan shared that they were very hands-on in developing the soundtrack for their upcoming film, “Tayo sa Wakas.”

Among the performers featured in the album are JL of BGYO, Jeremy G, Kolette Madelo, “Tayo Sa Wakas” actress Miah Canton, Mariano herself, and Power Diva Angeline Quinto.

“We all put in the effort to make this a great experience for everyone,” Mariano said during the soundtrack launch in Quezon City, Friday.

“Binuhos namin lahat. It is not our first project together pero ‘baby project’ pa rin namin ito. We have seen it grow, from conceptualizing. It is built with so much love,” Pangilinan added.

The lead stars added that the soundtrack offers a glimpse into the rollercoaster of emotions the film will bring to viewers.

“Parang journey din siya. Kasi story nina Cisco at Cheska—makikita mo ‘yung transition. From talking stage, serious, to all the turbulences. I think the songs encapsulate it,” Mariano said.

“I think may hint na ng stages ng relationship. Mixed emotions; mare-ready ka na bago pumasok sa sinehan,” Donny added.

“Tayo Sa Wakas,” directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, will premiere in cinemas nationwide beginning May 27.
