Juan Miguel or simply “JM” de Guzman has been in the spotlight since 2001 in “Ang TV 2”, portraying a variety of roles which later paid off in his acting career. But even before taking a plunge into showbiz, JM has already been a seasoned talent. A graduate of the University of the Philippines Diliman, majoring in Performance Studies, the actor also took part in “Dulaang UP” as both a talent and production staff, giving him extensive experience on and off-cam. JM is also a trained martial artist and a decorated wrestler. Though ideal for action genres, JM’s natural charisma paved way for him to land on a variety of romantic lead man roles, namely one under the “Precious Hearts Romances” book adaptation, “Araw Gabi” (2018). Another notable role he portrayed was Anthony in the film “That Thing Called Tadhana” (2015) where he mends his broken heart with a heartbroken woman as they go on a spontaneous trip to the mountains in Sagada. JM also leads the cast of drama romance series “Init sa Magdamag” alongside actors Yam Concepcion and Gerald Anderson.
