Mathew Cruz (also known professionally as Matt Cruz) is a rising Filipino singer, performer, and actor who first gained widespread recognition as a contestant and finalist on ABS-CBN’s reality-survival idol search, Dream Maker (2022–2023). Known for his smooth pop-R&B vocals and performance charisma, his journey on the show led him to finish as a finalist, ranking 13th overall in the grand competition. Following his reality stint, he successfully transitioned into a solo recording artist under ABS-CBN Music’s Old School Records label, earning a reputation as a promising young act in the contemporary OPM and P-pop landscape.
