JC Alcantara sparked the network's interest after being part of a viral TV commercial from one of the country’s top food chains. Since then, blessings continued pouring his way, and he eventually found his way into Star Magic and was launched as part of Star Magic Circle 2019. He unleashed his acting skills as Bogs in the top-rating and trending soap “Halik” and during his performance in the romance-drama movie “Kasal.” However, his stellar performance in the digital BL series “Hello Stranger” in 2020 drew him more following. The same well-received series was translated for the big screen this 2021.
